Delegation from Central South University of Forestry and Technology Visits University of Toyama

On November 5, 2025, a delegation from Central South University of Forestry and Technology (CSUFT), China, paid a courtesy visit to the University of Toyama.

CSUFT is a leading higher education institution in China in the fields of forestry and environmental science. Since signing an academic exchange agreement between the Faculty of Economics at the University of Toyama and the School of Economics at CSUFT in 2009, the two universities have expanded their collaboration by adding an agreement with the School of Business in 2016 and another between the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Materials Science and Engineering in 2024. Over the years, they have actively promoted student exchanges and joint research.

During this visit, following greetings from President Saito and President Qiu Yi of CSUFT, the two universities exchanged views on future academic collaboration and possibilities for international joint research. After the meeting, commemorative gifts were exchanged and a group photo was taken, concluding the visit in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The delegation then stayed on to participate in the 19th Northeast Asian Academic Network (NAAN) at the Faculty of Economics, further deepening exchanges between researchers and students.
