National Institute of Medicinal Materials, Vietnam Visits University of Toyama

On February 22, 2018, Dr. Pham Thi Nguyet Hang, Head of Dep. of Pharmacology and Biochemistry, researchers and students from National Institute of Medicinal Materials, Vietnam paid a courtesy visit to President Shunro Endo. This visit is supported by Sakura Science Plan, Japan Science and Technology Agency, for which Prof. Matsumoto, Director of Institute of Natural Medicine applied.
Institute of Natural Medicine, University of Toyama and National Institute of Medicinal Materials concluded a faculty-level agreement in 2009 and re-concluded in 2014. The mutual collaboration between both institutes has been continuing.
After giving a welcome address by President Endo, Dr. Pham expressed her appreciation for inviting them and her hope for more collaboration such as student exchange. Through Sakura Science Plan, further development of international exchange can be expected in the future.
